Government Relations
真人线上娱乐 Office of Government Relations advances the University’s institutional priorities and enhances support for the campus through the development and stewardship of strategic relationships at the federal, state, and local levels.
To advance our shared University priorities, we:
- Advocate on behalf of UW Bothell in matters of legislation and public policy that impact the University;?
- Engage with business, civic and government leaders throughout the region to promote mutual goals;?
- Foster collaborative relationships with community organizations from Marysville to Bellevue and beyond;?
- Advise campus leadership on legislative developments and emerging policy issues; and?
- Inform the campus community about federal, state, and local policies that affect higher education.?
Our Work
UW Bothell actively engages with all levels of government to help shape public policies that reflect the needs and priorities of our campus community. Explore how we engage at every level:
- Federal relations: We advocate in Washington, D.C., for policies that support student financial aid, research funding and national education priorities.?
- State relations: We engage with legislators and state agencies in Olympia to promote access, affordability, and the University’s institutional priorities.?
- Regional and community relations: We build strong partnerships with local governments and community organizations to foster collaboration and to support the region’s economic and civic vitality.?
