UW Bothell partners with local governments to advance shared priorities that support our students, faculty, and staff — and strengthen the overall well-being of the region.
City of Bothell
We work in close partnership with the City of Bothell to support efforts that enhance transportation, sustainability, housing, and infrastructure. 真人线上娱乐 University regularly engages with Bothell City Council members and staff and actively participates in city-led planning initiatives and advisory processes.
King and Snohomish Counties
UW Bothell is uniquely positioned at the intersection of King and Snohomish counties. 真人线上娱乐 University works with both the King County Council and the Snohomish County Council to support regional planning, public health, transportation, and human services initiatives that affect our campus community.
Community Relations

Chambers of Commerce
We are active members of the Bothell Kenmore Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Alliance Snohomish County, and the East King Chambers Coalition. Through these networks, we support regional economic development, foster collaboration, and contribute to coordinated advocacy efforts.
Transportation Partnerships
We partner with Sound Transit, King County Metro, and Community Transit to improve accessibility, expand mobility options, enhance campus connectivity, and contribute to long-term regional transit planning.
Neighbor Relations
We maintain relationships with nearby neighborhoods and community groups, including the Campus Town Community Advisory Committee, to support ongoing dialogue around safety, livability, and future campus development.
UW Bothell in the Community
UW Bothell proudly supports and participates in local events and initiatives that strengthen community connections and reflect our shared commitment to the public good.
- Sustainamania: Hosted by the City of Bothell, this annual festival promotes environmental sustainability through hands-on activities, educational exhibits, and community collaboration.
- Earth Week: Each year, we partner with local agencies and nonprofits to host a variety of Earth Week events — including workshops, service projects, and outreach activities — that encourage environmental awareness and action.
- City of Bothell Fourth of July Parade: As the staging location for Bothell’s largest annual community celebration, the UW Bothell campus plays an important role in this long-standing community tradition. Members of the campus community also participate in the parade, celebrating community spirit and deepening connections between the University and the surrounding community.
